The PTA have a stock of used uniform which is sold to raise funds for the school.
How to Donate: Donations of clean, outgrown uniform items are appreciated. We can take Aldryngton jumpers, Aldryngton cardigans, trousers, shorts, shirts, skirts, dresses and summer dresses. Donations should please be laundered and name labels removed.
How to Buy: Second Hand Uniform Sales are held several times a year but you can also buy at any time throughout the year.
Alternatively email uniform@aldryngtonpta.com, to check what is available. A member of the 2nd hand uniform team will contact you.
Lost Property: School do not have the space to keep lost property for long periods of time so towards the end of each term, any un-named, uncollected lost property will be removed, washed, ironed and added to the PTA 2nd Hand Uniform stock. Lost property boxes are usually located in the medical room and Lower School library, however during the Covid-19 pandemic lost property is being dealt with within classrooms.
Please ensure your child’s garments are clearly named otherwise once lost it is difficult to reunite items with their owners.
Can you help? The PTA always need extra parents to help with the 2nd Hand Uniform process in particular the receiving of donations and dealing with lost property. This would include taking garments home to de-tag, wash and iron as needed. We also need helpers on the day of the 2nd hand uniform sales, 30 minutes or as much/little as you can spare goes a long way in helping to set up, serve and clear away so please offer to help if you can. Support of parents is vital if the 2nd Hand Uniform fundraising is to continue.
